The item pictured is an adapter cable for the installation/replacement of your factory amp with an aftermarket Amp. The RCA jacks plug directly into the RCA inputs of the new aftermarket amp. A 6 pin female connector plugs directly into the existing factory amp cable (male wiring harness connector)which was originally plugged into the Volvo Amp. Additionally, +12v signal wire and ground connections provide a signal to the new aftermarket amp to power-on
.
A speaker harness adapter will be necessary if you do not want to cut into the factory speaker wiring harness.
This Cable is a must for an easy installation of an Aftermarket Amp.
No cutting of the wiring harness is necessary.
All wires are well labeled for an easy and straight forward installation.
Wiring harness works with many/all 850, S40, S60, S80, C70, V70, XC70, XC90 and other models that utilize the
6 pin DIN female
connector on the back of a Volvo factory head unit.
